Welcome to our inaugural newsletter
In the Fall of 2023, we began Our Lady of La Salette Charitable Legacy and launched it publicly in April 2024. We are very grateful for the generosity and trust our current donors have placed in our efforts to permanently fund the grass-roots humanitarian support organizations initiated by the La Salette Missions for over 100 years.
Our Lady of La Salette Charitable Legacy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with an urgent humanitarian mission. We are an independent group of “laypeople” dedicated to supporting the work of La Salette Missionaries around the world, especially in Madagascar where the late Bishop Donald J. Pelletier, M.S., and Father Jack Nuelle, M.S. dedicated most of their lives serving the poorest of the poor. As our name suggests, our goal is to keep their legacy alive by continuing the USA-based awareness and project-funding efforts they started and, ultimately, to change people’s lives for the better in these countries as well as our donors’ lives.

Once we achieve our $2 million donation goal, the investment income earned by maintaining and growing our principal funds will allow us to fund a minimum of $100,000 in new projects annually.
