The La Salette Missionaries have done an incredible job in laying the groundwork to help others at multiple levels in remote areas of the world, the time has come when projects are becoming more difficult to fund.

The people of Madagascar deserve our support for the basic necessities that we take for granted. The local government is unable or unwilling to provide that support. If nothing is done now, then all the years of dedicated hard work and accomplishments of the La Salette Missionaries will fade and give way to unnecessary human suffering.

This foundation’s main focus is to manage funds received to completely aid the disadvantaged who request grants for projects for the development in their areas for both long- and short-term use.

The long-term will include projects like these:

  • Building 2-4 room schools where none exist
  • Digging wells to provide clean drinking water
  • Installing solar panels due to the unreliable power grid
  • Medical care facilities

The short term shall be focused on immediate needs like:

  • Repairing the roof of a large building at the handicapped center
  • Hearing aids and books for the deaf school
  • Wheelchairs, or medicines for those in need.

These are incredible people in Madagascar who just want a chance/opportunity because their government does not see it that way. The necessities are a big deal to them, little things that we have that, unfortunately, we take for granted.

Objectives

  • Education: Provide scholarships to help children from poor families attend school. Also, supports the construction and renovation of schools. 
  • Healthcare: Provide medical care to the poor and marginalized. Also, support the construction, maintenance, and renovation of hospitals and clinics.
  • Food security: Provide food assistance to the poor and marginalized. Also, support the development of sustainable agricultural projects.
  • Water and sanitation: Provide access to clean water and sanitation for the poor and marginalized. Also, support the construction of wells and latrines.
  • Spiritual growth: Provide for means of spiritual and material growth helping people to realize their worth as human beings.
